Linesight provided project management services for the Bahrain Marina Development Company (BDMC) from the project inception, through design team appointments, master planning, scheduling, design, permitting, enabling works and tendering for the main works. The team acted as project managers for the dredging and marina construction contract and the piling contracts.
Bahrain Marina is a trendy waterfront development that seamlessly connects business, leisure, residence and tourism, making life on the water far more practical, accessible and meaningful to everyone. It is located in the heart of the capital Manama and aims to be one of the prime tourist attractions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with a strong focus on its innovative design.
The 300,000 sq.m. integrated mixed-use development, constructed over a 1,200-space underground car park and logistics tunnel, will host numerous attractions and facilities including a 250-berth marina with an iconic feature yacht club, a 300 key 5-star hotel with serviced suites, water villas and cabanas as well as a 155 key beach club. Bahrain Marina will feature residential offerings, a family entertainment centre, fine dining restaurants, a boardwalk and waterfront space, all developed in accordance with the highest international standards. .
