Linesight strengthens senior team to support ongoing North American expansion

Global construction consultancy firm, Linesight, has announced the appointment of two new Vice Presidents – Padraig Leahy and Jimmy Hanley, to help support the ongoing expansion of its North American business.  

Padraig Leahy, Vice President, Americas, will manage Linesight’s operations in the Pacific Northwest and Canada, with responsibility for complex mission critical facilities. Padraig is an accomplished leader with extensive national and international experience. He has been advising clients in North America for more than five years in a variety of locations, including New York, Seattle and San Francisco. Under Padraig’s leadership, Linesight’s project team for a prominent technology client grew by a remarkable 35% over the past year.

Jimmy Hanley, Vice President, Americas, will assume responsibility for driving growth in the Data Centers, Advanced Technologies and Commercial sectors. Jimmy has spent the last 20-plus years working with clients delivering complex projects and programs across the globe. He has lived and worked in multiple countries and continents.

Despite challenging market conditions, Linesight continues to grow, with an exciting pipeline of business ahead for the next few years across the Americas. Over the past year alone, the North Amerciabusiness has grown by 10%, with a headcount increase to 300, as well as the addition of two new offices in Vancouver and Boston. Success has largely been driven by strong representation in mission-critical sectors, such as data centers, life sciences and high-tech industrial. Linesight has advised on more than 136 data center projects, 71 life sciences projects and over 287 projects, spread across both the commercial and retail space.
